Through The Park, your church joins Nexus Global Mission’s vision to reach unreached people around the world. Our Team
Pastor Barry White is the founder and President of Nexus Global Mission. He is a native of Fairfax, Virginia and has served as a pastor for over 30 years at churches in both Virginia and Massachusetts. He graduated in 1988 from Liberty University and later completed a two-year Bible Institute program. In 2003 Barry moved back to Virginia to start Park Valley Church. Barry has a heart for the people of his community and is passionate about seeing the surrounding Northern Virginia area come to an understanding and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Barry is married to his college sweetheart, Christine, and together they have four adult male children. In his spare time, Barry loves being with his family and cheering on his Washington sports teams.
Steve Bloom is the Executive Producer of The Park, a brand-new kids ministry curriculum. He's been serving in kidmin for over 16 years and specializes in elementary large-group settings.
A graduate of Bob Jones University with some subsequent studies at Penn State, he spent a career in high tech and now seeks to set kids free with the truth of God's Word, while serving on a handful of not-for-profit boards, including Holistic Haitian Alliance.
He lives in Virginia with his wife and daughter, plus 5 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 horses.
Karl is the creative director at The Park. An award-winning filmmaker with over 15 years of ministry experience, he has shot everything from national events to Sunday morning storytelling. When he's not behind the camera or computer, you'll find him with his wife and two children.
Cresta Williams is the Director of Early Childhood Curriculum & Content with a passion for helping young children discover, learn, and grow through engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences. With more than 25 years of experience serving children and families in church ministry, teaching, and community programs, Cresta brings a wealth of practical experience to her work in early childhood curriculum development.
Cresta earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University, majoring in Adolescent Psychology with a minor in Youth Ministries. She also earned a Master of Education from Liberty University.
Cresta has served children and families in a variety of roles, including teacher, church ministry leader, Pastor’s wife, elementary educator, therapeutic foster parent, and children's community theatre producer and supervisor.
Mollie is the Editor and Project Manager at The Park, where she helps create clear, engaging curriculum and resources that help churches reach and disciple children.
Mollie has served in Kids Ministry for many years and has more than 30 years of experience in K-12 education and communications coordination. She is passionate about using her project management, copywriting, editing, and digital storytelling skills to help churches share God’s Word with children, families, and volunteers.
Sol is a designer and animator with a passion for bold visuals, playful colors, and creative storytelling. She enjoys creating thoughtful, engaging designs and animations that bring biblical stories to life and help kids grow in their faith. She graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design and has worked with brands including Nickelodeon, Gretel, Levie, and 21st Century Brand. Originally from Puerto Rico, she grew up in Virginia and now calls sunny Florida home. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time in the sun and by the sea!
Philip leads sales and marketing at The Park, bringing executive experience in tech, entrepreneurship, and working with startups. He enjoys simplifying complex challenges and helping good ideas grow into practical solutions.
With 25+ years in children’s ministry, Misty is a creative strategist dedicated to helping local churches thrive. Her extensive background includes teaching, writing, and nonprofit marketing.
Globally recognized for her work coaching churches across the US and internationally, she is honored to serve kids and leaders daily with The Park.
